Unlike many of the popular how‐to's on this mod that are incorrectly fused, incorrectly terminated, or incorrectly wired, this kit is designed to properly relocate the battery with the battery still fused in the rear. This kit also includes the wiring to install an NHRA legal kill switch with the alternator wired up the proper way to both safely shut down the vehicle without it running on the alternator with the battery disconnected, and safely shut down the alternator with the output wired to the battery side of the kill switch. The other methods of disabling the alternator with a secondary solenoid or interrupting the field wire can and will damage the alternator with nothing to absorb the voltage spike upon shutdown. This kit includes all cables, clamps, fuses, boots, and mounting hardware as shown in the kit photo.
